Ride 2 Resilience is a powerful, 10-day, drop-camp-style motorcycle expedition from the northernmost point in the U.S. — Utqiagvik, Alaska — to the heart of South Dakota. This isn’t just a road trip; it’s a life-changing journey built on challenge, connection, and personal growth.
The route spans thousands of miles through rugged terrain, with daily rides and campfire-based peer sessions that foster healing, purpose, and community for veterans and first responders living with trauma.

Day 1 — Arrival & Assessment

  • In-processing at Top of the World Hotel
  • Gear issued, medical evaluations completed
  • Rider fitness and skills assessed
  • Pairing for the journey begins

Day 2 — Exploration & Bonding

  • Optional fishing charter and sightseeing
  • Group dinner and Combat-Call pairings

Day 3 — Ride Begins: DC1

  • First leg: 7-hour ride
  • Evening group huddle and gear check
  • Fireside introduction to hotwash session

Day 4–8 — DC2 to DC4

  • Multi-day ride through Canada and the Yukon
  • Wilderness immersion and resilience challenges
  • Peer-led discussions and mentorship circles
  • Daily “suit up and roll out” routine builds mental endurance

Day 9 — Final Push to DC5

  • Deepened group bonds
  • Focus on post-ride reintegration themes

Day 10 — Arrival in Rapid City, SD

  • Final ride & ceremony
  • Reflection, celebration, and graduation as Resilient Protectors

Who Can Join?

Participants are military veterans and first responders struggling with PTSD, depression, hypervigilance, or social isolation.
Applicants must meet minimum physical and psychological readiness requirements, and all riders must pass a gear and fitness assessment.
Misrepresentation during selection may result in immediate removal.
